Ellen Larson is a graduate student specializing in contemporary Chinese art. Ellen entered the department after spending four years studying in Beijing, China where she earned her Masters Degree in modern Chinese history from Minzu University of China.
Her research interests include modern and contemporary art and Chinese social history, with a focus on social practice and identity. Ellen has curated and presented exhibitions, symposia, and art events in China and the United States.
